I love using plants as my photo subject. They are available at any time of day and they never complain if I’m taking too long. This year I bought two miniature rose bushes. I love the pink color and they will bloom all summer. This photo is not as sharp as I’d like it to be in the center of the rose, but overall I like it. Nice bokeh in the background. With a tripod, I think I will probably get a good sharp focal point, but I am holding out to see if I can do it without a tripod. More roses to come…
