I’ve got new growth on my Christmas cactus. This is a plant I inherited when my grandmother passed. I don’t particularly like it. It’s real big and is just kind of ugly but I keep it alive and nurture it because it reminds me of her. For day 5, it was my photo subject for the day. I thought I would focus on the new growth, and I do like the details in this photo and also that kind of velvety glow. Overall, I would say this is an improvement.
