Photography class

I’m currently taking a landscape photography class, and my latest upload is from my last assignment. I will admit this class has been a little overwhelming with the amount of information that has been given. It’s really valuable information and I will be able to use it for a long time. But in a 4 week period, it’s a lot!

For this class, I purchased a polarizer and a gradient neutral density filter. These pictures were my attempts at using both of them. I’m not sure if I can tell what differences they made. Maybe a cloudy day wasn’t the best time to use them? Like I said, there was a lot of reading material, and I read it, but I think I need to read it again and again and then lots of practice in difference settings.

Overall, I’m pleased with how they turned out. Could they better? Always. But for now they will work and when I have more time, I’ll get out and practice some more.

Anybody have good advice or suggestions with polarizers and GND? I’d love to hear it!
